How to Take Blouse Measurements at Home (Step by Step)
Can't visit the studio? You can take good blouse measurements at home with a soft measuring tape and a helper.
The easiest method: a sample blouse
If you have a blouse that fits you well, send it to us. We measure it directly — this is the most reliable method for out-of-town customers.
Nine measurements
- Bust: around the fullest part, tape level, snug but not tight.
- Under-bust / waist: around the ribcage just below the bust.
- Shoulder: across the back from one shoulder tip to the other.
- Blouse length: from the shoulder near the neck down to where it should end.
- Front neck depth: from the shoulder–neck point down to the depth you want.
- Back neck depth: the same, down the back.
- Sleeve length: from shoulder tip to where the sleeve should end.
- Sleeve round: around the arm at the sleeve end, plus one finger for ease.
- Armhole: around the shoulder joint, passing under the arm.
Tips for accuracy
- Wear the bra you plan to wear with the blouse.
- Stand naturally — don't hold your breath.
- Measure twice and note whether you used inches or cm.
Our measurement helper shows where to measure each one and sends the numbers to us on WhatsApp.
